CVL Luminaires new product : the Janed wall light

“Like a small headlight from an old car, Janed’s cup reflects the light of the opaline sphere”, explains Emilie Cathelineau, the integrated designer of CVL Luminaires and the creator of Janed. Trained in lighting design and product construction, Emilie oversees CVL Luminaires’ design office. She creates new products for the Contract range and carries out their technical development with the help of the craftsmen of the manufacturing workshop. In addition, she also takes care of the relationships with other independent designers. Concretely, she receives their sketches and then carries out all the technical construction part while ensuring that the designers choices are respected. Emilie is the creator of more than ten collections such as the Wonder table lamps, the Louis pendants, the Solitaire floor lamps and the most recent Janed wall lamp.

CVL Luminaires series of Janed wall fixtures : a wall light collection with discreet charm

The new Janed collection fits in different interior spaces. The wall light is available in four wall light models: Janed Simple short version (12 cm), Janed Simple long version (14 cm), Janed Light Pull and Janed Cable. It is easy to imagine Janed Light Pull as a reading light next to a headboard or as a light source in a sitting space for reading in the living room. In a simple short version and in repetition, the fixture discreetly lights up a hallway or a stairwell in a residence or hotel. Thanks to the multiple finishes it offers, the Janed wall light will align with your creative research to make your clients’ tailor-made projects a reality. Depending on your mood boards and the use of the premises, residential, commercial or tertiary, the resolutely contemporary design of the Janed wall lamp will blend in with the chosen interior decoration.

Technical aspects of the Janed wall light

For a high level of personalization of your architectural projects, the base of the wall lamp and the cup are available in four materials which can be combined with each other: brass, graphite, nickel and copper in a satin or polished finish. The globe protecting the bulb is made of opal triplex glass. Janed is available with a 7 cm pull switch or with a 2.50m cable fitted with a plug for installations without an electrical outlet on the wall. G9 Led bulbs of 5 watts maximum are not included.
