CVL Luminaires at the French Design Days
By participating in the French Design Days, CVL Luminaires will present its new collection of lighting fixtures on the North American market. Imagined and organized by Business France, the French Design Days are a 4-week hybrid event. That is to say, it offers on the one hand virtual meetings with potential business partners and on the other hand workshops and B2B meetings over 4 days. These business meetings take place at the time of the famous International Contemporary Furniture Fair (ICFF) in New York. In 2022, the French Design Days take place from May 4 to June 3. CVL Luminaires was present in New York from May 16 to 18 to meet prescribers and architects from North America. Decryption of an important moment for CVL immersed in the heart of the design community!
CVL Luminaires selected for the French Design Days 2022
For the French Design Days 2022, CVL Luminaires has been selected alongside 10 designers and manufacturers to promote French know-how. Lighting and decorative fixtures, furniture, floor coverings, textiles: the exceptional French know-how was really there.
It is on the initiative of Business France, the trade and investment section of the French Embassy, that this event has been taking place for 3 years. Business France acts to promote the international development of the French economy. Among the selection: companies like CVL Luminaires that combine design and quality materials. They have also participated in interior design projects in North America. The French Design Days are therefore a perfect opportunity to present their latest collections.
During the face-to-face days from May 16 to 18, CVL Luminaires was able to meet individual North American interior design professionals who come especially for the ICFF show. Unlimited possibilities to expand your network and customer base! Architects, interior designers and decorators were able to discover, in the dedicated showroom in New York, the CVL Contract products selected for the occasion.
At the French Design Days, they come to seek out high-level craftsmanship for which all stages of production are mastered. In the luxury lighting sector, CVL can offer them technical expertise in brass and the production of custom-made and unique pieces. The UL certification of products is the very illustration of CVL’s deep determination to enter into long-term business relationships with design professionals across the Atlantic.
A word about the International Contemporary Furniture Fair (ICFF) in New York
For CVL, the perfect opportunity to travel to New York is the International Furniture Fair. ICFF is North America’s premier trade show dedicated to contemporary design and interior design. Each year in May, it welcomes more than 10,000 architects, interior designers, specifiers, retailers, publishing houses and distributors. From New York of course and from the west coast too, from San Francisco to Los Angeles, some come from Canada! The event succeeded in placing particular emphasis on original and sustainable design by selecting products made with noble materials such as brass for example. It has won over many designers and manufacturers who come to present their range of furnishing products, lighting, coverings and textiles dedicated to residential and hotel environments.
