Clopes 20-100 floor lamp
Les Clopes consists of floor lamps, table lamps and suspension lamps. Their transgressive yet smiling name, emblematic of the spirit of a designer who skilfully juggles references to popular culture with those of excellence, comes from their long, slender tube shape. For the feet, José imagines a white or black lacquered metal finish, in a satin brass variant. And then, echoing his fascination with Japanese craftsmanship, he developed burnt or toasted wood, a novel technique that the Manufacture had to incorporate into its range of practices. The sensorial qualities of this material blend harmoniously with those of the linen lampshades.
